I see. Base on what I know, hangul or hangeul is originally their language but when the contry was conquered, they were forced to disregard hangul and it was soon almost forgotten. It's almost a miracle that the hangul is present as of this day. By that time, only a few koreans are able to really remember hangul because if they are to be seen or spotted using it, the Conquerers will punish them. By that time, when hangul has almost vanished, the korean scholar, Ju Si Gyeong, spent his life studying about korean language and due to that, as he was studying for the language, he died. As time gone by, Si Gyeong's scholars have rose to revive hangul. They fought for it and asked every korean to write down every hangul that they can remember, even curse words and with that, they've acquired the manuscript containing hangul characters. But korea has fallen into japanese reign (Or maybe it was them all along but don't think so cos by then they were using chienese characters) and the conquerer's army had confiscated the manuscript and just like that, the koreans lost the manuscript containing hangul characters. But miraculously, after some years, every manuscript was found and Si Gyeong's scholars have sought justice for the language and that'd what they're using now as language. Therefore, I believe that hangul is nation's language and that everyone deserves credits for it. That's all, this was kinda long.

I just wanna share, no offense.
