hi, just putting a little note here in case anyone comes to check regarding updates on starlight!
          	
          	i’m officially going to be putting it on “an indefinite pause”. i’m going to be focusing on university and also attempting to write/polish up a real book. factoring in all of this, i don’t see myself updating starlight frequently, if at all again. i wrote the start of it around a year ago and after a couple months break, this past summer i found myself with spare time and inspiration to write some more. it has been fun to return to, but fanfics are extremelyyyy time consuming. as i’m sure you can understand, life priorities change and i’d like to take a step away from wattpad & fanfic writing in general to focus on different things. 
          	
          	i’ve appreciated every single reader, every comment and every vote. she wasn’t the most viral thing ever but i know i have a few invested readers and it breaks my heart to leave a story unfinished. perhaps in the future there will be a random weekend when i have spare time or feel silly enough to crank out a fanfic chapter, but i don’t want anyone left in the dark about my intentions.

            so sorry for the lack of updates - i've been focusing on writing an actual book as opposed to my fanfics recently, so my creative energy has been spent there. i can't tell you how much it means to hear your harry book is inspired by my writing style though, never thought i'd be a source of inspo so thank you x 
            
            i don't really read harry fanfic at the moment, but when i come back to it i'll definitely check your story out!! thanks for checking in <3

hello friends. still completely reeling, feeling shocked and saddened following the passing of liam payne. my condolences go to his family, friends, fans and the one direction boys, who i keep suddenly bursting into tears for. this is all so devastating and i am struggling to find it real. it truly does feel like our childhoods have been changed forever, and that listening to one direction will never be the same again.
          
          i hope that you are all doing well and taking care of yourselves. be kind to everyone. life is so short and so precious. xo
