to my filipino readers here, I hope we firmly demand accountability from corrupt politicians who shamelessly steal from taxpayers, and be critical of any forms of anomalies in the government. many people spend most of their time doing mental calculations on how much they need to spend to get by every day while those idiots who run the country roam around with stolen millions/billions in their pockets, which could, by the way, go to productive projects and actively help our people, especially the underprivileged ones. let's not turn a blind eye on this and not let ourselves be desensitized to bad governance and lack of accountability. may we not be forgiving to those who abuse their power and even to those who enable it.

@PixieDust-5 I hope so, too. Thank you!!

@hiseyestell You're my favourite author and Hey, That's No Way To Say Goodbye is my favourite book, so YEEPPPPP.
Right?? OMG I knew you'd love it! I'm sooo glad. I often find myself listening to spacey songs (I have a dedicated playlist, ahem) but this particular one is the best, imo.

I listened to it! It's such a calming song, it definitely eases you to relax. The lyrics are helpful too! Needed to hear them today. Thank you!

Hello, Lynn! I hope you are doing well. The first part of the finale of TAT has kept me on the edge of my seat, but I'm saying this not to give you pressure. In a way I'm still sad that we only have a chapter left in the story. Your writing style is really calming and introspective and I love that the book is more of a relationship study. Anyway I remember you published a movie/art recommendation book before. May I ask which movies are your favorites? I like your taste.

hiseyestell

@atsumuprmanager i do hope you get to pick what you like from those movies... and yes i am from the PH, nice to meet you!!

@hiseyestell Thank you for the reply! I will check out the movies you mentioned and hopefully they become my favorites too. I am very amazed by how diverse and how much you seem to indulge with music (judging by your Spotify playlists) and movies. Anyway please take your time on the last chapter of Time after Time. I'm looking forward to it but I'll be here patiently waiting. I also learned that you're from the Philippines like me which makes me happy hehe.

@atsumuprmanager first off, i'm very sorry this reply took so long! your message is honestly one of the kindest compliments I've ever received, so thank you for taking the time to write such on here. i'm also a bit sad about the TAT ending, and I'm not even halfway through writing the chapter because I find it hard to come up with the right words, but I'll do my best. thank you for the comment on my writing style. I tend to gravitate toward introspection a lot which I think can be annoying sometimes especially when I think it doesn't move the story/plot. I also like writing character/relationship study. the recommendation book you're referring to is collecting dust in my drafts. and it's really difficult to choose my favorite movies! there are a lot to choose from and they change a lot for me, depending on the situations/emotions I find myself in. but paris, texas (1984) would still be up there. still walking (2008), phantom thread (2017), the tree of life (2011), sound of metal (2019) are also strong contenders. other notable ones are it's a wonderful life (1946), arsenic and old lace (1944), an autumn afternoon (1962), y tu mama tambien (2001), moonlight (2016), drive my car (2021). I'm missing out a lot of movies but this is getting lengthy so I'm sorry about that! thank you again and I appreciate your sweet thoughts!! take care xx
