Reading Askew is making my head implode. Gotta love those classic Wattpad tropes — KQ University, the ateez popular kids group, lack of consent, inheriting the family business, arranged marriages, things that are just really weird and extreme, etc. 
          
          Honestly the girls friends and brother are pretty realistic. Hyunsang is just a fucking psychopath, breakup revenge on Seonghwa may have triggered the plot of the book but he's clearly mentally unwell. The main girl is dumb but that's ok she's a young girl getting manipulated by a sociopath, I give her benefit of the doubt 

i adore ateez's song light so much... it reminds me of this time a year ago, when i spent most of my free time basking in the comforting escape of all those lovely seonghwa fics. and it's such a beautiful song, i can't get enough of it.

fics where the main couple is a cute pair? wonderful! great! delectable! romantic! but fics where they've broken up but they meet again and all the memories come rushing back??? FUCKING ORGASMIC!!!!!!!! 

okayyy im like 3/4 through second lead syndrome (i thought legendary hot girl was pretty promising so i checked out the authors other books and well you won't catch me turning down some good ol jungkook ff) and lol the plot is interesting enough to have me reading this far but damn, i literally hate all the characters because they're just crazy horndogs (ESPECIALLY the main character who acts like she's above all of that when she is just as scummy as everyone else she complains about) anyway it's just that literally ALL they seem to do is fuck and that's why i feel like they don't actually love each other, they've never shared any legit emotional moments that aren't about how fucking horny they are. plus the characters are all just plain annoying and immature, and not in an endearing way. but overall, i am enjoying this author and their rough style, although my personal tastes cater much more towards deeper characters and prettier prose.

fuck i just thought about FFY and it made me so euphoric

I am enjoying cambion, and the series incubus / succubus it came with. Nice plots. characters feel "human" and understandable and idk it just has enough of that self awareness level and complexity that saves it from being cringe. 

I started reading HOW TO SIN and it feels like reality TV lol. Like there's no depth or reasoning just weird lusty exciting bad boys and whatnot. The grammar and punctuation is a relief

okay i 95% finished him or me here's my thoughts
          1. there was really an effort to develop each character and i do appreciate that, but some plot points just felt off to me. like the evil twin was fucking psychopathic for no good reason and he had some strange random changes that seemed out of character, i didn't really get that guy. 
          2. the biggest conflict between the main couple felt kind of unbelievable to me and then when it was resolved it was like really easy and everyone was suddenly happy again in like a para it was weird 
          3. the prose itself was not that great but i highly doubt the writer is a native english speaker so i don't weigh this too heavily 
          4. their relationship was moderately cute despite the ML and the FL being rather annoying in the first couple of chapters (FL especially was really hard for me to believe...)
          5. the side couple was an adorable addition but their conflict was resolved so easily that i genuinely don't even know what their conflict was in the first place 
          overall, cute book and admirable effort into writing the characters but i think the overarching plot wasn't really believable 

ok i started reading Gucci and like the whole book just comes off as a big meme the way the narrator talks is just LMAO
