            ( gwyn cocked her head to the side as she watched him glance around, taking note of the subtle change in his eyes depending on where he looked. ) i don’t dislike all large crowds, just those that are like these, i have to attend galas in relation to my studies, of course. but aside from that, when i’m not trying to find a sponsor for my expeditions, you’re rarely going to find me among the crowd here. ( she clarified with a tip of her glass in response to his smile. startling herself with the laugh that spilled out at his admission. ) oh you’re joking, dent, when was the last time you slept for more than a few hours? && yeah, is that a promise? though it hasn’t been *that* bad. not really, it’s been pretty… typical, i guess. nothing too intolerable.

[harvey adds, standing by her with a small smile.]  i thought somebody was talking to me, but it was just lack of sleep, i think.             you’re fine, mr dent. i assure you, it’s alright. though if you want to make it up to me … tell me what distracted you. && just know that you *definitely* owe me the first drink or dance of the night. whichever comes first, i don’t usually attend many of these galas, as i’m sure you know by now. i’d much rather be reading. you’re filling up my seasonal quota, this better be good.

            what can i say, i read a lot. ( gwyn joked with a tilt of her head, nodding as he spoke of his wish for the outcome of his term. ) you’re off to a fairly good start of that *very* noble cause, dent. if i may say so, myself. but i’m no public figure.
