Hi I just wanted to ask that I am confused about what going on in dance of the dragons because in c chapter 49-53 is that why did the main character leave the court when she still be there while raising her kids and why did they call her sister kids bastards when she married into house stark so they’re shouldn’t be called bastards

@TheFictionalSemant the main character aera left the court since she married another lord, since Jayden is lord of runestone in vale so she have to leave with her husband it actually happens in many occasions so I implemented that and I wanted to give aera some space and live peaceful life atleast for while and Focus on children growth, the children gonna play huge role in dance that's why I wanted to show family bonding... And Jayden is bastard of daemon Targaryen and vivian royce He is bastard still beared royce name since his mother already married to someone Cecil royce So kind of legitimate and Jayden grandmother is stark As rhaneyra she married veloyron who have white hair and shared same features as Targaryen but her kids are brown haired so rhaneyra kids called bastards I hope I cleared your doubts
