Hi Ilana,
This is Amber. I recently saw that the poem you wrote about our past friendship is still up, and I noticed you’ve now tagged my account in the description, alongside using my name in the piece itself.
While I did give you permission in the past to share the poem, I want to make it clear that I never consented to being publicly tagged or directly linked to it in this way. And more importantly, I’m withdrawing any previous consent I gave for my name or identity to be included. Our friendship is in the past, and I believe it’s important that we both respect that and allow it to stay there.
Publicly tagging my account and continuing to name me in something that’s available online is not just crossing a personal boundary—it’s a privacy concern. I don’t want to be associated with the piece anymore, and I’m asking that you either take the poem down entirely or, at the very least, remove all references to me: my name, the account tag, and anything else that connects it to me.
I’m not trying to start anything or reopen the past—I just want to move on, and I need this part of our shared history to be left privately behind. Please respect my privacy and my right to no longer be publicly connected to something I’m no longer comfortable with.
I’d appreciate it if you could handle this as soon as possible.
Thank you,
Amber
