It was a nice spring afternoon, and although it was break, Friday and Ian had chosen to stay behind at Highcrest. Ian, because he wasn't bothered to meet Uncle Bernie, and Friday because her main family was in Switzerland. Both of them lay on the glistening grass from the September rain, talking about the upcoming term. "How do you think next term will be?" Ian asked, staring into nothingness.
"Probably nothing too bad, it is test term, though." Friday stated. The annual end-of-year tests were coming, to determine next-year's classes, and for the reports. Reports. Ugh. Most kids hated their school report because it showcased their horrible academics. But Friday's hatred came from the fact that every school report had gone ignored by her parents. Every year, they wouldn't bother to praise her, or even take a look. They were too busy stuck in the world of quantum physics. Friday sighed, a sad look over coming her face. "Are you okay?" Ian asked. Before Friday could answer, a slipped in, right next to Ian.
