IT professional and mother by day, avid reader and writer by night, after thirty-four years of living and breathing the written word, I've finally decided to pursue my passion. I assembled the writers' kit of a laptop, coffee machine, oxford comma, and cat, then put my fingers to the keyboard and finished my first book in 563 easy steps. I found out quickly that I like to write thrillers because I get to kill off characters, and have an excuse for all those suspicious internet searches about ways to poison someone (as I keep telling my husband). Add in a dash of romance, I get to make people cry all while drinking copious amounts of wine. Along with all the other benefits of being a shut in, living the writer lifestyle is my utopia.
I live in the great white north where we have an abundance of "Sorry's" and "U"'s in our words, both found in my stories in droves. I have the end goal of someone actually reading about the imaginary friends I get to talk to in my head all the time, and potentially even enjoying it.
