The last class finally finished , and Junior was eager to go home . Well , mostly eager to see Sidney and spend the day with her . Being around his new girlfriend made their heart pound , but he absolutely adored her . They made his way over to the lockers and saw Sidney putting her books away , moving quicker and put their hands over her eyes . “ guess who ! ”

Junior’s insides twisted as he approached their house . It just didn’t feel right . It wasn’t like it was home to him , not anymore . It was nothing . But as they stood in front of the door , not moving , he almost didn’t want to go inside . But they needed to get his things , so they knew he had to . “ do I have to go in ? ” they asked anyway to Sidney , who decided to accompany him for moral support .

            " i get it . " she spoke with a slight smile . sidney was glad she came with them - she was happy she was there for them . " i can grab your things instead , if you want - ? " sidney wouldn't blame them at all if they wanted to not be in the room or house anymore .

back to school . he almost wished they didn't go back . after everything that's happened , junior still had it in him to go back to school . they missed plenty of classes because he was in the hospital and despite their anxiety , he decided to go back . go back as a whole new person , keeping their head down as he walked through the hallway .

            Junior had to take a deep breath as well . While his father’s beaten face didn’t bother them that much , since Junior was the one to inflict it , remembering his mother still haunted them .

            Junior swallowed thickly , trying hard not to think about his mom’s bleeding face through their glass or their father’s bludgeoned face from the beating . “ w - well , what’s done is done . It happened . Can’t change that . ”
