awee im sorry it felt like that, that sucks. i think i preferred the pacing because it made me more enforced to just hurry and finish the book so i could move on to the next book. i used to not finish my books if it got to that point, but im forcing myself to finish them now no matter what, because thats not a good habit. if that makes sense???? + i was still interested in finding out the but what the big  “thing” was in the end!!! 
            
            ive heard of joyce carol oates, ive never read anything from her. if you had to recommend one though, even though you wouldnt, what would be your pick? like which is the least worst? 
            
            IM SO GEEKED!!!!! def looking forward to it as i am missing succession and its brainrot hold it has on me. WE MUST CATCH UP SOON!!! ive always enjoyed our talks!

            I’m very happy enjoyed it. I didn’t have the same experience unfortunately, I felt like it dragged for me on the last half. 
            
            the only thing I’ve read recently are joyce carol oates stories. we were studying her for an English thesis paper. she’s not someone I can recommend (outside of plentiful controversies) she’s just a 50/50 writer. I do like her writing style (she has somewhat inspired me to writer small things here and there) but the topics she focuses on are…. interesting. I’ve noticed a certain pattern, I’ll leave it at that.
            
            as for the Roman Roy fic, it’s the one I’m mainly focusing on right now. that and another passion project fic. WE NEED TO CATCH UP SOON ROCKY!!!
