This has always given me the ick but usually I brush it off, but serious question for authors…what’s up with the book being good, couples are doing good and then boom change it to someone cheating or being toxic ? Like stuff like this gives me the ick instantly. ITS ALWAYS CHEATING :| I used to let it slide but now I get the ickkkkk, instantly lose interest in the book cause why cheating?

i have never/will never have cheating as a major plot point in my books. i hate it too and it also gives me the ick!!! cheating is not a trial or a tribulation. it’s not an up or a down. i wish writers would stop including it in their work.
