her soft sobs steadily began to die down as the other comforted her,  only small snifflings could be heard from her now.  the brief kiss that was recieved made a wobbly smile appear through tear striken features 〝  at least it seems that my efforts weren't in vain in the end.  i was worried i'd never see you again.. ＂ her earlier squirming had long since stopped as she returned the embrace,  a small chuckle later being heard from her〝  though,  it's odd hearing you saying such words of apologies.  you always were so self-absorbed in the recent cycles.  i truly did miss you.. ＂

" ⠀gently,  he turns her body to face her.  and he leans down to briefly kiss her lips before parting away. ⠀"  i'm sorry,  for everything thus far.  you were just..  a lovely girl with a dream..  if only-  no.  /if i hadn't/  went through it,  none of it would've occured..  but there is no point in blaming ourselves now.  "

her head shook in denial,  as if him apologizing wasn't right〝  what kind of priest could i call myself if i couldn't even save the life of others,  yet alone one person! ＂ she said in anguish as her eyes steadily became misty〝  why...  why aren't you upset?!  i took away your life of living your glory days due to my lie!  hate me for what i so selfishly did! ＂ she exclaimed in self-condemnation as she softly sobbed,  her hands trying to weakly pry away the arms that held her

〝  what do you mean?  this little one is just as charming as you.  just look at them! ＂ the bard urged as she held the chimera comfortably in her arms,  it letting out a small 'awoo' as if agreeing with clio〝  i wonder if i can adopt it.  imagine it being my wonderful co-singer during my preformances!  we'd be very popular,  don'tyou think? ＂

〝  you'd..  like me to join you? ＂ she asked more so out of surprise at his invitation.  and the heir knew that she played music??  he must've heard her the past couple of times she was practicing in her own free time,  the thought alone making her slightly flushed as she smiled〝  i'd be more than happy to if it'll help you get some proper rest!  though if i may ask,  how did you know i played?  i don't really tell much people about my hobbies after all.. ＂

〝   heh,  chrysos heir or not,  a person in need should always be offered help when needed is my philosophy.  and i adore it!  it's so beautiful that i can't even imagine me actually wearing it.  would you like to do the honors of putting it on me? ＂
