          it’s been a minute, sorry about that. for the past several months i’ve had so many plans to come back to wattpad (just collide actually) but life continues to throw the most unimaginable situations at me. like i still don’t know how i survived the month of august. 
          
          regardless, i’m gonna try to revive collide but i’m not on 5sos twitter anymore and i feel like 5sos wattpad is like gone so?? we’ll see what happens i guess.

Last week I was walking through campus after my night class ended and it was pissing rain and Beige by Yoke Lore started playing… instantly thought of Calamari in Seattle and at the aquarium.

i think i've said that i'm really REALLY finishing collide like at least 100 times but I'm serious time because i will be submitting the completed book for the 2022 watty awards. this means that by mid-august you'll all finally have a completed version of a book i started 2 years ago lol. thanks for the love and support over the years. also, happy leo season to my fellow leos. I'm glad the world revolves around me right now. okay love you bye.

          I'M SO SORRY FOR DISAPPEARING AGAIN. college is kicking my ass. she grabbed me by the hair and pulled me to the ground and has knocked out four of my teeth so far and she just keeps hitting me??? it's brutal out here.
          
          remember when i said i was rewriting collide? well, i still am, but for now, i will be putting the original chapters back up and letting y'all reminisce with me until i have time to finish the book and properly republish it. i don't have the time or the capacity to do it right now. i hope y'all haven't forgotten about me. i miss you so much (and amari misses y'all too).

          you may have noticed i kind of disappeared for a second. my presence on twitter is practically nonexistent and it’s even worse here on wattpad. i don’t have any good explanations but i’m here now!
          
          after some very serious reflection i have decided to unpublish collide and rewrite/edit the entire book. i recently had a chance to read the book and while i do adore my characters and plotline, it’s very evident that my writing style has changed drastically since then. i hope to adjust each chapter and be able to have a more cohesive storyline and writing style. i will not be republishing anything until the ENTIRE BOOK IS COMPLETE.  this means i’m going to rewrite/edit the prologue and chapters 1-18, then finish writing and editing chapters 19-30, and then i will be posting everything.
          
          thanks for being so patient with me. it’s hard to write when your life feels like it’s falling apart.

I swear I didn’t forget about y’all. I just work 43 hour weeks. BUUUUT Sunburn is very surely being pulled together and Collide chapters are in the works. Thanks for being patient lovebugs. 

Hello lovebugs,
          
          Collide has just reached 10,000 reads. 10,000. In six months of having this book published it has reached 10,000 reads. Six months of non-stop creating, writing, working on the tiny details that make every character as special as they are, of falling in love with this amazing project. It has been quite the journey to do this while being a full-time college student AND having a job but all of you have made this so, so worth it.
          This book is yours as much as it is mine. Every time you read, vote, recommend it to someone, like/rt my tweets about this book, you make this a reality. Here is a quick breakdown of what the next several weeks will look like in my insane world of writing:
          
          – Collide should be complete by the end of May. We are just slightly over halfway done with the book!
          – A short Surfer!Calum fic (10-12 chapters) will be posted sometime in late June-early Jule
          – A short Vampire!Calum fic (10-15 chapters) will be posted sometime in early-mid August
          – The sequel to Collide will be posted in mid-August. We are only just getting started in the world of Amari King and what a beautiful disaster it is to fall in love.
          
          Thank you guys for everything. I genuinely will never be able to put into words what your support means to me. Y'all let me do what I love and do it as passionately and honestly as anyone ever could.
