@hopesbookshelf hey hope, you already foreshadowed how she was excited about Cali and her relationship with her brother. You're main character hasn't meet Portman yet.... and in the movie charlie rounded up the ducks. I wonder if your first chapter should be when this happens so we can see the team and you're main characters relationship especially since Adam isn't truly welcomed to the Ducks until the end of the first movie. Your first chapter could also mention their practice on the ice. Later during practice Bombay calls a time out so Tibbles can introduce the team and Ms. McKay. This would allow us into the mind of the main character. I wouldn't have Dean Portman and her talk yet but it's up to you. I kinda want to see how Banks handles having Portman interested in his sister. Is he protective, does he not care or not know as he's wrapped up in hockey? Or is he wrapped up in his own relationship or hockey?
