the librarian moreso uttered aloud rather than it being a question.  the small terrier that stared back at him was no doubt eugene,  the canine's beady eyes holding that same curious glint that the brunette always had〝  i'm guessing this will wear off soon?  ＂ he asked while scooping the other into his arms,  giving the temporarily turned eugene's fur a few pets on his head

@horrorific        victor frankenstein, yes. in fact    . .  i’m quite familiar with him.      [although felize wouldn’t be the one to break the other’s reality of fiction. the vampire instead leans back, fingers clinging to a strand of his red tresses.]      but do you define what he did as mad? i suppose it would depend on what lens you choose to view it through.
