For a while I've been thinking of hosting writing awards. In my opinion, there are so many great authors who are buried under the sea that is cliche stories, and I am going to do my part in getting the reads and feedback they deserve. Sometimes its not all about the views, as a lot of authors (including me) lack motivation as they've already decided for themselves that their writing sucks. Maybe some writers require honest critique. And to be honest, a lot of book awards require voting as the major judging factor which isn't really fair. All that's required is pure, unadulterated love of writing.
So this is just a thought, and I welcome my friends to pm me your thoughts on this. Have a entirely new idea? Pm me. Anything. Let's talk.
