Hello, darlings, and a slightly late Happy New Year <33
I don’t write here very often, and I’m never quite sure how to begin, but as one year ends and another begins, I just wanted to say thank you.
Sharing Valentina and Aurora’s story, watching them grow, fall apart, fight through their emotions and everything in between, has definitely been a rollercoaster these past months. I hold them very close to my heart, and sharing isn’t always easy, especially when I often doubt myself and overthink nearly every chapter. But your kindness, patience and encouragement keeps me going more than you’ll ever know. Every bit of support you offer, silent reader or not, makes it feel so worth it and safe enough to share.
And though I’m usually quiet and not as good at replying as I wish, please know that I see it all and appreciate it deeply. I absolutely adore reading through all of your comments and the thoughts you share. It means the world that this story has touched so many of you, knowing it somehow resonated and found a place. And I’m honestly still so incredibly speechless, because not long ago we reached over 500K reads?! I genuinely can’t comprehend that so many of you have found your way here, or that this was ever a possibility.
But there’s still so much ahead. Val and Rory’s story is far from over, and I can’t wait to share it all, even if it’s scary and will take time. It surely will be giving us whiplash from all the pain, the messy slow burn, healing, love, growth and everything in between.
Thank you again, truly. For being here, for caring, and all the support. I’m endlessly grateful for every one of you, and I hope this new year is off to the best start and is gentle with you. Please be kind to yourselves and your hearts, beautifuls, you deserve it all <33
