Hi...I know its been a while. Well, make that a long long while. In the middle of uni stuff and a whole pandemic looming over us, I thought that it would be best to finally get this off my chest: I want to start fresh in this account so that means deleting my old work here for good. I'm grateful and sorry to the people who did get to read them. I associate those stories with a not so good part of my life and I just want to be able to move forward from here on out.

Back then, I didn't think I'd be able to write anything I'd ever consider decent so I just stopped but doing so made me forget why I wrote in the first place: because it was honest to goodness fun. Reading stuff on here again made me remember that. I've written some stuff again (well, mostly poetry on another acc) and I do still want to try writing longer bodies of work—be it for a fandom of interest or original stuff. Quarantine really got me thinking "Hey, we're in what could possibly be a weird af apocalyptic setting so why not give it another shot? Why not write it for me regardless so I can finally stop going over my mental roster of wips for another session of maldaptive day dreaming?" So here I am, your resident hotricebowl and hopefully I can serve y'all content if you still want.

Hi. I am just awkward at starting conversation so I'll come straight to the point. I love the dialogues between tae and sky and the words scream out the pain, trust, love, care all in them. I wanted to appreciate your work.

(Taps mic) Hello? Anyone still here?

Well I’ve been thinking and it’s time I get back to the writing thing again. It took a while due to everything going on (personal wise). But I’m back and feeling marginally better. I may be a little rusty so please bear with me and I’ll do my best to give y’all the content y’all deserve!

I know I know...I should've updated something or at least show some signs of activity but I haven't due to certain circumstances. Just know that there is nothing more painful to a content creator than not being able to produce Any content. And Id hate it even more if I put out something half assed.

I guess what I'm trying to say isn't rlly new. I'd need some time before I can post/upload something in confidence. Thank you and I'm sorry.

          All the love,
          Alex

In support of the anniversary of my friend, @CrazyGirrrrl 's story, I decided to pay tribute by making a playlist for my fave dynamic, Minjoon! I was very particular about the songs I put in so here's a breakdown of them

          1. I Was An Island - Allison Weiss
          "I was an island
          Before you came along
Put your boat in my sand
          Your hand in my hand
          Your heart in my songs"

          - a slow start. it's like the feeling you get when you realize "oh there you are, all this time"

          2. Fools - Lauren Aquilina
"What if we ruin it all, and we love like fools?
And all we have we lose?
And I don't want you to go but I want you so
So tell me what we choose"
          - OK I JUST HAD TO ADD THIS CUZ THE LYRICS RLLY FIT THIS PAIR. As the realisation sets in, so does confusion. Where do we go from here? There is so much to feel, should I just let myself feel them? This is really their theme.

          3. Do You Feel It- Chaos Chaos
Do you feel it, do you feel it?
Do you feel that I can see your soul?
Do you feel it, do you feel it?
Do you feel the beat in your heart?
          - carrying that theme of confusion & just wanting something real

          4. Bullet - Ann Marr
"How can I keep myself away
When I'm falling on for you
I've never known this kind of love
I can't help that I'm falling on for you"
          - its just this awareness of the gravity of your feelings & this def fits both, esp on nj's part. Both of them have gone long w/o it & its hitting them full force.

          5. Intro: Serendipity
          "All this is no coincidence
          Just, just, by my feeling
The whole world is different from yesterday
          Just, just, with your joy"
          - ofc how can i forget to include the ultimate collab between these two? the lyrics also fit cuz it talks abt how this serendipitous event led to something greater.

          (to be continued)

6. for him - Troye Sivan
            "We are runnin' so fast
            And we never look back
And whatever I lack, you make up
We make a really good team"
            - ofc, there Must be a song by this icon who has provided this 20gayteen. Another apt description of that chemistry. Also the chorus part can be felt through nj's pov.

            7. Sink In - Amy Shark
"That I'm weighed down by your beautiful
            Collapsing underneath your perfect
            Drowning in your wonderful
And I'm letting you sink in"
            - this is the part of the slowly letting yourself feel these feelings. and it might not be returned but its nice to feel them, no? So you let them just sink in, come what may. (fun fact: this was featured in the love simon ost!!)

            8. The Truth Untold - BTS
            "You know that I can’t
            Show you ME
            Give you ME
            I can’t show you a run-down part of myself
I wear a mask again and go to see you
            But I still want you"
            - again comes the creeping feeling of showing/revealing these feelings because it's a way of showing vulnerability so you put on a mask instead to keep up the status quo. a kind of climax of sorts.

            9. When You Love Someone - Day6
"I hope I can be a little helpful at least
I hope I can be your resting place
I’ll try to make you feel at peace
Whenever you think of me during your busy days"
            - and here, folks, is the conclusion. this is the part where one fully accepts their own feelings and just wants that person to be happy regardless. day6's soft vocals carry that kind of feeling pretty well!

Wow this became longer than expected but I hope that y'all have a good time with this playlist! Another big thanks to Cheska for the story that gave way for this playlist! And a big thanks for her for letting me a beta reader of sorts & receiving critique well.
