I wrote my previous comment before my parents' quarrel just now. The constant argument that runs in my family can be explained by these facts: My mom just got out of hospital but she has not fully recovered. She has to take care of my 97yo grandma who lives with us, not to mention she has a temper. My dad is the bread earner of the house and has high expectations on politeness towards elderly, which my mom is not good at given her heavy workload and bad health condition.

My initial response towards the situation, like before, was of concern and frustration. Why couldn't I help? Why are they always miserable in this relationship? Why is my mom always emotional, my dad violent and inconsiderate? Why can't they just talk things through reasonably without fighting? Why must it happen now during exam season? Why must I face such obstacles when I have just decided to give up depressive thoughts and make my life better?

But I'm glad to have read your book in face of this sudden challenge. I have decided to improve myself and I will NOT let this hurdle stop me. I know my goal will be harder to achieve than initially expected, but with your advice, I feel the strength to carry on.

Thank you, thank you and thank you.♥️
