Hi, everyone!

It’s been a few days since I opened my Wattpad account. I actually had one years ago, back when there were still classic lit copies all over the platform.

Anyway, I’d like to introduce myself since I have some followers now!

I'm H.R. Lagman (definitely not my real name).

I'm a writer and a visual storyteller. I've spent nearly 15 years as an independent filmmaker and about 10 years as a copywriter and marketing strategist.

Recently, I’ve been finding my way back to one of my true passions: creative writing (I'm a Communication Arts graduate). That’s exactly why this profile exists. I take inspiration from my own life experiences, often exaggerating them to the point of total absurdity. It’s my way of exploring themes I’ve been interested in for a while, like social anxiety, self-deprecation, isolation, "introvert-ism," and the thin line between a tragedy and a good joke.

These are all part of my first ever series: Mr. Bad Timing, the metaphor man himself and my very own "Lag Man."
