Mr. Bad Timing Vol. 1 is officially completed!
I would like to thank my active readers and future ones. Finding an audience on Wattpad is a tall order, especially with an unpopular theme on the platform. Nevertheless, writing stories I wanted to write is a principle I will not regret, no matter how few my readers are.
Mr. Bad Timing is a personal story that rummages through memories of high school. 2006 might be a strange choice for a setting, but this and the following years were vivid enough for me to warrant its resurfacing. Of course, the experiences and emotions here were exaggerated and not to be treated as autobiographical.
But the journey doesn't end here.
I had planned the story as a ten-chapter, 4-5-volume series spanning the whole high school period. Originally, Mr. Bad Timing was the sole character followed. However, writing Pauline was such a great experience that I had to expand her arc. It was fun to include parallels between the two on how they tackle and navigate issues of responsibility and high school's social structures in the context of reputation.
Names are also important in this story, as they connect to the theme of reputation. The Prologue serves as a setup, allowing readers to meditate on what lies beneath the plot, adding texture that isn’t merely prescriptive.
With Volume 1 done, I hope you’ll be patient as I work on the next. To my Filipino-language readers: I apologize for removing the Tagalog version. With adjustments to the story chapter by chapter, I realized that the entire translation would need to be overhauled. I’ll be working on this alongside the continuation of another series—The Sounds We Kept.
Again, thank you for the opportunity to share these stories on the platform, and I hope my readers find in them something meaningful.

Hey guys!
Just an update: Chapter 3 of The Sounds We Kept and Mr. Bad Timing's volume ender will be delayed for just a bit. I'm just dealing with some office renovations, so I haven't had the time to edit the chapters for publication.
Thank you!

Hi, everyone!
Chapter 9 - Lost in Translation of Mr. Bad Timing is up!
You can read it here: https://www.wattpad.com/1614180010-mr-bad-timing-vol-1-what%27s-in-a-name-chapter-9
Have you ever joined something that wasn't really what you thought it was? School Clubs are sometimes confusing. Some use names that are clearly not what they sound like. But when it comes to deadlines, it can pressure you to join something you should have researched more about.
Also, I'm done revising all chapters of Mr. Bad Timing. If you notice, the Tagalog/Filipino version has been unpublished for some time. This is because, adjustments to the chapters have become so major, that the whole translated versions have to be adjusted too. Don't worry though. I'm working on it.
Ps: Only 1 chapter to go before the end of Vol 1 of Mr. Bad Timing. Hope you enjoyed the series so far. I can't wait to write Vol 2.

NEW UPDATES
Chapter 8 of Mr. Bad Timing has just been published yesterday! We're nearing the end of Volume 1. Only two chapters more, so I hope you'll continue to support the series.
Next, if you've noticed, The Sounds We Kept is being constantly edited. Sometimes ideas come to help improve a piece of work. I want my readers to experience the story in the best way. If you've read the first two entries, please go back and check the changes I've made with the prose.
This will also apply to Mr. Bad Timing. But it'll take longer for me to update the chapters. Don't worry, whatever scenes that happened in the story so far will not be touched. Only how I tell the story will get a makeover.
Thank you so much for your continue support. I always aim to give my best when it comes to the stories that I love to write.

People carry a lot of things that add up to various kinds of pressure. It's not easy to imagine how others carry theirs. We can only experience them bit by bit when you have enough will to do so.
