          Chapter 04: The Rise and His Falls

           “Nasabihan mo ba siya dito?” dagdag pa nito. 
          
          Ayos lang. I smiled at her, “Oo, hayaan na marami pa naman ako performances pwede niya puntahan—mas malaking news naman yun sa ka-banda niya. Best Friends kaya sila nun!” depensa ko sa sarili ko habang pinipigil na palabasin ang lungkot kong damdamin dahil maraming tao sa paligid takot na rin na magkaroon ng kung ano-ano malisosyong balita dahil lang sa wala ang taong ipinagmamalaki ko sa harap ng television kanina. 
          
          “Bakit hindi ba ‘to malaking news? Girlfriend ka naman niya.” may pagka sarkastikong sambit nito sa akin.
          
          “Sus! Okay lang, Ate Daisy. Mamaya naman kakain kami sa labas. Babawi rin ‘yun si Miggy pa?” depensa kong muli sa sarili ko. 
          
          Kahit ilang beses ko pa sigurong i-gaslight ang sarili kong emosyon ay hindi ko pa rin kayang itanggi na nalulungkot ako. Ngunit ayaw kong ipakita dahil ayaw kong mag-mitsa ng away naming dalawa. Marami pa siyang chance na makita ako mag-perform live. Hindi pa naman katapusan ng mundo.
