            I've been addicted to a lot of things in the past (and to some, I still am), but what really helps is to NOT isolate yourself. If you're alone, the urge will be stronger, and there's a higher chance that you'll give in to the urge. You could try socializing more with your friends and family or even just hanging out and doing nothing with them (like just sitting in the living room).
            
            This is a clasic, but you could take a walk, get some fresh air, and clear your thoughts. You could even try something like running since you'll feel better about yourself after and won't want to give into the urge all that much.
