everytime i come back to try and finish a draft, i feel as though my writing style has changed drastically and doesn’t feel as authentic as it has once been before :(

@huawyn please do not be discouraged! change is inevitable, and that's not a bad thing. Though if you're concerned whether your current style pales in comparison to your older one, I will wholeheartedly say that it does not. you are amazing !! please never stop writing. <3

it’s okay if your writing style changes! Though I can imagine how frustrating it can be, and how much it hurts to feel stuck between old drafts and new rhythms. For what it’s worth, you have written such beautiful works, and that sucky feeling of shifting authenticity could just be proof that you are growing and evolving as a writer. Please don’t be too hard on yourself!
