it’s okay if your writing style changes! Though I can imagine how frustrating it can be, and how much it hurts to feel stuck between old drafts and new rhythms. For what it’s worth, you have written such beautiful works, and that sucky feeling of shifting authenticity could just be proof that you are growing and evolving as a writer. Please don’t be too hard on yourself!
