she sits crisscross, next to the god of rain. blindfold over her eyes, her chest rising and falling. she lifts it, their red eyes meeting yuhua's. it is a comfortable switch of topic, somehow it has switched to what caishen and yuhan were like were as children. she covers her mouth as she can't help but laugh. "i remember the times where he was so small they'd hang from my hand," she sighed. "and of yuhan? i only met him once i rushed to the assembly. he was an adult, then."

.. caihua, that is the mortal name i go by.

huaxueli

@thshadows, not the same, then. the characters in mine are that of ‘rain’ and ‘flower’. ( … ) thank you.

it seems so.. cǎihuà means colour painting. but truthfully.. it was just to match my students divine name. [..] yuhua.. a good name.

   yuhua.. please, calm down.

/ remembering how u said that yuhua flooded teyvat when celestia made yuhan a god; so here u go.

foxianic

[ she's always hated getting wet, but the fox adeptus makes due because of the greavity of the situation. yingtai's hands go to yuhua's shoulders, her brows furrowed. one hand slides to his back, slowly rubbing. she doesn't answer, because they both know what has happened.. don't they? celestia couldnt just accept the fact that the god of rain wanted no part in this war. their child -- their /boy/ who was already in this war because he was a blacksmith of the guili assembly, had been made into a god. yingtai decided she'd have to make the journey soon to the assembly, and see yuhan for herself. that could wait though. ] yuhua... please.

@foxianic, ⋆ it could barely even be considered rain at this point. it is a torrential downpour, one that’s lasted for /days/ now. yuhua’s shoulders shake and shudder, head in her hands, breaths quick and rabbiting and erratic as hair sticks to their face, as waterlogged clothes drag in the mud. he’s sobbing, uncontrollably and fearful, inconsolable as she clings to her familiar. ⋆ they’ve — - what have they d͟o͟n͟e͟?!

@solmoonic, i think.. not all gods are as fortunate as i. but that simply means we should offer them assistance when they need it.

" id told you when we first met, ' a god ought to have a familiar, ' " the fox adeptus speaks softly, tilting her head to the side. her eyes shutting as she leans her head on yuhua's shoulder. " but to tell you the truth.. i didnt want to be left alone. " a soft pause is given, before her lips tug into a slight smile. comfortable with just lying her head on her shoulder, ears lowing ever so slightly. ".. im glad you said yes, too. "

foxianic

her eyes soften, and she stays like that. her hand in his hand, her head on their shoulder. its a calm and peaceful silence between the two. an ear twitches, and she nods. " im grateful. " she pauses. " i think thats my biggest fear; being left all alone. isnt that silly? the adepti are known for their solitude and yet.. i cant help but yearn for the warmth of others. ⋆ yuhua’s eyes are closed, expression peaceful as she reclines against a tree. wind tousles their hair ever so gently, and her touch is careful as she intertwines his hand with yingtai’s. ⋆ i.. wouldn’t have dared to leave you alone, ⋆ her voice is soft, only for her familiar’s ears alone. ⋆ of course i would’ve agreed. but.. i have never once regretted that decision, either.
