@huggylodger I love this. I read this out loud and cried as I didnt realize how much I needed this today. I been feeling like I'm not good enough and I suffer from mental illness and the stuff in my head is making me feel like I'm not doing enough. But thanks for reminding me, its not about what I do but God is. And what God and Jesus Christ have already made possible with mercy and grace. I just need to trust and do my best everyday.

Is it just me, or do I not like overpowered characters in stories, games, movies, etc.? Something about them makes me really mad. For example, Nemesis from Resident Evil 3 - he is my favorite villain from games and movies. Why? Because he takes damage and you’re able to take him down for some time, but soon he gets back up. He’s not invincible; he mutates into a weaker form in some parts, but a stronger form in other parts. He evolves throughout the game or movie.

@huggylodger I don't know those particular people but I do think that characters that are too powerful and there's no reason for it. Does make some things cool but its takes away some of the " are they gonna be ok or survive this factor of stuff. If you know that they're really untouchable and don't have fatal flaws then why are we worried about them or how much can you rote for them. So yeah I feel your side. I'm not against super super powerful characters. I think if used well its awsome But I see how there's a downside to an overpowered character.

There’s something that I’m not okay with. (No offense to the writer, it’s just my opinion.) The writer in question is @Theswankyseal. He makes good stories. Trust me, he’s like the best. I just have one issue with one of his stories. “The Last One Standing” is a good story, but it has characters that I feel like it shouldn’t have, from Transformers, Poppy Playtime, and more. I just feel like whoever makes a story should come up with their own ideas for characters, not use ones from other series. And the main character - he’s all right, but I feel like he’s too overpowered, and his “revenge” isn’t original. Like a kid watching their parents die - that’s pretty much normal in stories, movies, games, etc. I’m so tired of keep hearing that in fiction. Like Y/N seems like he knows everything, but he doesn’t, and with his power… like when he first got his power, when he was about to die, and he comes back to life and destroys the murder drones. I liked that. When he wakes up in his bed, he doesn’t know what happened. I like that it keeps the mystery alive… But when he died again and came back, it was not to my liking. Y/N’s personality is pretty cocky, but when he died he became even more cocky. I want mystery; I don’t want a character that seems like he knows everything.

@huggylodger I personally think that some people feel uncomfortable to fully put themselves out there and there'd rather make it fanfare. And most people only start writing these stories because of there love of fanfiction. So most will always try to stick what makes them happy or what makes them feel safe. So they're added it in so they won't be taken seriously. And will be given a break or be left alone by harsh professional writers. And give themselves time to go and learn for the real stuff. Also in my own works the reason that I like creepypasta is because writing creepypasta offers a move interesting and more wide range of storytelling. But also because I just love the characters of creepypasta and feel better writing creepypasta fan type stories. Anyway that's just my opinion and theory.idk anything solid except for what I do. Hope this helped or made you feel better!

Here’s another example of a character that I love so, so, so, so much - a character that I’m able to see myself in. It’s from the same creator that made “The Last One Standing,” @Theswankyseal. “Love to Murder For!” This fanfic has to be the best Murder Drones fanfic. Y/N is a normal guy; he makes mistakes, but he grows from them. He fails but never gives up. He’s not the best, but not the worst. HE. IS. THE. BEST. For me.
