I tell stories — most often with words that paint pictures. My first book was Travels with the Fish, about my globetrotting.

The Book of Hoyt, which I'm posting on Wattpad, is the story of the Daniel Hoyt, an ordinary plain vanilla man in New York, who inherits a book with answers to all the world's problems, but doesn't want to make the world a better place.  He sells the book to a dollar store — and then finds himself locking horns with the most powerful man in America, the President. Who wants to change the country into a monarchy, and impose a set of draconian laws to keep the people confused and his hold firm on power.

I've made movies, directed theatre, composed musical scores, developed games for teaching people.

I've written poems — a few.

Sometimes the best poetry emerges when you're in a kitchen, cooking. Food, its creation and its enjoyment, give me great pleasure.
