@DawnPointEnd I agree. While I am female and do like strong female characters, I do wish they would've done a genre that supports LGBT. 

Who the flying fuck petitioned for a Chick Lit genre? Is there even such a thing?

And sorry for being a little harsh, but the series is actually a bit of a trigger for me ^^; I'd suggest at least looking into the series to find major plot points and either A) Write them better than Meyer or B) Twist them in a way to make the idea seem more fresh.
