i was thinking about this a few days ago. i used to like seeing when people would be active by what they were just doing. and what they added to their library, a new chapter update, or generally just finding a good book someone else found that i, myself wouldn’t of found.
i think i also remember voting on stories so that it’d pop up on my activity tab and use it as a substitute reading history

@hunterfreakodesu yeah, i do feel like wattpad has been going downhill since 2019. i feel as if a lot of people on wattpad now, migrated from tik tok. i’ve actually mostly been on quotev. it requires wifi, but since i’ve been finding better books on there, i couldn’t ask for anything better. god forbids the day tik tok rushes quotev :’)

@shxpgxdesss yes thats part of my reasoning for it being different. The best era of wattpad for me was 2014-19 and it started to go down after they added the ads to each chapter. I also don't like how they added the coins crap because I could be reading a great ass story but then I gotta pay to read the end of the story :'[. But yeah I agree I feel like all the popular fandom fanfics have been getting over saturated now so its hard to find the really good ones like they were a few years ago

@hunterfreakodesu i don’t know if you still need advice but i just try to talk to them instead of just cutting them off first. if that doesn’t work out then i just ignore them.
