how this had happened , he didn't know. all he knew was that once he saw the blood running down her neck , his long lost caring instinct had emerged. he'd wrapped an arm around nava's battered body and had guided her into a tavern where he - in a rented bedroom upstairs - was tending to her wounds now. he sat on the edge of the bed and was cleaning up a wound on her abdomen. drunk men laughed downstairs and music boomed through the floor.
" so . . . what happened ? " he asked when bending down to clean a stained cloth in a bucket of water.

@capscars ; × "What does it look like." Was the female's grumbled response. Wasn't it obvious? She had gotten in a fight, and it hadn't turned out that well for her. But she'd be alright, she didn't need help - and especially not /his/ help. Though she had to admit, she was feeling a bit light-headed. Perhaps she /did/ need his help. Anyway, deep inside she felt glad that he had found her. Who knows what could've happened if he hadn't. But then again, she still didn't exactly trust him. "I got-" she grimaced when she felt a painful sting in her abdomen, probably caused by the wound. "I got into a fight," she started off, again. "With some drunk... sailors, I think. They were harassing someone, so I decided to step in." She grimaced again when she felt another sharp pain, before continuing. "Wasn't such a great idea, I guess..." she let out a quiet, frustrated sigh. She really, really hated this.
