i’m gonna get shit on this bcuz well any time us pocs speak up in this fandom we get shut down but the racism in this fandom is actually insane even the underlying shit that we brush off. the shit that happened yesterday on twitter didn’t even surprise me because i’ve seen black directioners get treated exactly the same on here and have those exact words said to them. if you don’t know what happened, a black harrie got sent awful anonymous messages about how black harries are “doing too much” and we’re all just jealous of olivia because harry will never date black ppl or any other POC. there’s obviously a lot wrong with that message but if i was to get into all of it, we’d be here ages. the main issue i see is ppl always brushing off any time POC speak up as us doing too much because y’all wanna defend harry so bad or anyone he dates you put a random man you don’t know, have never met and who doesn’t know you over real people with feelings giving valid criticism and it’s weird as fuck. i have been defending olivia since day one, i have been defending harry since day one, ppl in my real life are calling this man a homewrecker, im jumping through hoops, pullin shit outta my ass at this point and making good points too and i’ve never felt the need to bring up race???? even if i wasn’t poc it literally makes no sense. Im so close to leaving this fandom ngl
