that all being said, hes never going to be formally diagnosed in the books. i dont even think im going to discuss it explicitly all too much unless its in a thread or authors note, but yes. he is neurodivergent. he is on the spectrum. and he is autistic.

its gotten to the point where the company has no choice but to have stylists put him in solely long sleeves and arm warmers to hide all the marks on his skin from it. hes not ashamed of it bc he genuinely cant help it, but he doesnt want to worry anyone (especially not his parents, who are in CHINA and cant help him in a different country) by letting them see how bad its gotten

the other major thing he struggles with, as ive described a lot in hola solar, is compulsive skin picking. whenever yun gets overwhelmed, anxious, upset, angry, sad, starts overthinking, etc, his hands just automatically go to his skin. mostly his the back of his hand, his wrist, and up his arms. it’s not something he does on purpose or even really notices in the moment imo it’s really just a habit and a self-soothing behavior that kinda got out of control over the years. he’ll pick until his skin is raw, bruised, or bleeding without realizing how bad it’s gotten. it’s not intentional sh, but it does leave visible damage, and it’s one of those things that gets worse the more stressed he is.

@hyekities / THIS!!! like i play out the scenarios in my head any everything it’s so peak i love it i know exactly how im going to write it out like i have the perfect moments for each episodes the right amount of angst and fluff and fun….but then i get the actual writing part and its so BORING like i said earlier i was rereading my book bc j really felt like updating and i still do but why is it 14 chapters of straight snooze fest starting from the kprofiles to the actual chapters like i swear it was better in my head it’s actually such a bore like kill me
