“If you are a dreamer, come in
If you are a dreamer, a wisher, a liar
A hoper, a pray-er, a magic-bean-buyer
If youre a pretender, come sit by my fire
For we have some flax golden tales to spin
Come in!
Come in!”
― Shel Silverstein
I am a dreamer, a wisher, a liar
I am a hoper, I'll sit by the fire
I have some flax golden tales to weave
I have many a trick up my sleeve
I am a pretender
A story teller too
I'm clever with words
May I have some with you?
Hello!
I'm glad you took the time to read this. I'm never quite sure what to put in these boxes, though I feel obligated to say something about myself so you know I'm not some ravaged alien desperately searching for a human vessel so that I may live upon your planet. I am currently in high school, and am an aspiring novelist. I have been told I have an avid imagination. I play sports, I have friends, and I don't sit around the computer typing away all day. Just the majority of the day.
I am also told I have a wicked good since of sarcasm. I enjoy the idea being "mysterious" so I'll let you decide when you think I'm sarcastic and when I'm not. To save you from the possible paranoia, I'll give you a hint. I am sarcastic often.
(:
I am a very bookish child. I have a small library hosting over four hundred books in my room. Not to mention the stack of books I actually brought home from my public library. And the books I have stored on my nook. The last book I finished reading was Black & White (previously titled Naughts & Crosses) by Malorie Blackman. I found it to be a rather exceptional book, though I usually enjoy fantasy. I am running out of things to say, which is a rarity. I suppose I'd better end this before I start rambling..
