Damn…. I went in curious, I came out ruined. The Chicago Mobsters series damaged me beyond possible repair. Renzo and Alessandra proved to me that love is myth. They’re a noxious mix, somehow good for each other and poison to everyone reading.
What I got? Enemies. Lies. Denial. Psychological warfare. Devotion that turned violent and soft in the same breath. That man destroyed for her. And she bled in silence for him. Never met a vulnerable, strong-wiled character like Alessandra. Never!
But hey, you’ll not enjoy this romance. You’ll survive it just to think about it at 2 a.m. Obsession, danger, slow, lethal intimacy all live here. And if that’s your thing… congratulations. You just found your next fixation.
