To everyone who's been wondering where I've been, I apologize for the lack of content. I officially started an internship, so I'm gonna be doing a lot of writing outside of this. Don't worry, chapters are being written. Just gonna be a hard time getting them out on a schedule.

The towering oil rig, now restored to a usable base, became a bustling hub of soldiers and scientists again. The oil rig, now known as Inner Heaven as an echo of the original Outer Heaven under the leadership of Phantom Snake, became a haven for those abandoned by their countries. The scientists during the following weeks soon began work on a project that would shape the future of warfare once again.

The darkened halls of the dilapidated oil rig told many stories of its former inhabitants, a group known as Diamond Dogs. Most notably being THE Big Boss, the legendary soldier. But some say that the man who led this group was a copy of the Big Boss. That rumor would remain as such
          
          The oil rig is now home to a man by the name of Phantom Snake. The codename was given to the ghost-like soldier due to his exemplary ability to pass unnoticed. Why would someone of this caliber be here one might ask themselves. The answer is rather complicated and excruciatingly long to lay out in such a manner. 
          
          The short answer? To find the missing link between infantry and artillery.
