Jennie Ruby Jane Kim, born on January 16, 1996, is a South Korean singer, rapper, and actress who is a member of the K-pop group BLACKPINK. Known as Jennie Kim, she spent five years studying in New Zealand before returning to South Korea to join YG Entertainment as a trainee in 2010 and debuted with BLACKPINK in 2016. She made her solo debut in 2018 with the single "Solo" and her acting debut in the 2023 HBO series "The Idol". In 2023, she established her own company, Odd Atelier, for her solo activities.
