There's a rule, which I'm bad at, do not repeat yourself, choose other words. Take a look now. "Use a common word." then I said: "choose other words." So I would choose and say: :choose another form of translation to point out a deeper meaning. get out of the car -- is: climb out or step out of the car.
All we do is "see" what someone is doing. He went up the steps, no, he climbed or trotted up the steps three at a time. Visual. You can practice this. Watch a movie and visualize what the actor is doing, feeling, what does his face look like? Then make up a sentence for each one. It can be fun. This is how I practiced when I began. It's a good starting point.
The POV or point of view, is how the character is portrayed. There are some video's on youtube that can help teach this. Heck there is one for mystery too. Go play and you too can write.
