When I was young, I read a short novel that changed my perspective of life. It was the first ever real novel that I have read except for the books required at school. I never understood why people love books before, and it is only now that I understood why I did not.

You see, you can only understand something and eventually learn to love it if you enjoy doing it. There is no such thing as love at first sight with people and as such with books, and yet there is still that unexplainable electricity pulling you closer to it, running through your veins, and making your blood boil when you touch it. But that is just it- it is simply an unexplainable electricity.

It is only when you find yourself on the middle of the book that you could really say that you fell in love with it- because no man would go to such risk of wasting his time for something he does not love.
