I just finished reading your story and I loved it so much! Your writing is amazing, and I couldn’t stop imagining how incredible it would look as a comic. The way you describe the tension in Fae’s home, the stale beer smell, the chipped kitchen table, and the way Sam flinches at the sound of breaking glass is so vivid and heartbreaking. The quiet moments between Fae and Sam, like when she tucks him into bed and holds him tighter, are so tender and would translate beautifully into visual storytelling. The contrast between the chaos of the parents’ fight and the fragile peace Fae creates for Sam is so compelling, and I can already imagine how stunning it would look with visuals to match your incredible writing.
