My authoring journey started in April 2022. But in hindsight, this odyssey was a long time in the making. 

Egyptology always fascinated me. The ancient world was my 1st library of inspiration. Then, as my childhood life got emotionally challenging, I discovered sci-fi and fantasy. From there, I traveled in a new mind-dimension daily. 

I jot down my first manuscript at 15, the Golden Eagles. It now sits in my home library, accumulating dust, just like my dream for the next 30 years.
I am from Mauritius, a spiritual person, and I was raised by two broken parents who took teaching as a vocation and inspired a generation of my country-people. Today, I have 5 daughters with an age gap of 14 years between the eldest and the youngest. 

Ian Prescott is my chosen pen name. 

July 2022, my 1st sci-fi novel for YA was completed and self-published on Amazon. The novel is the 1st book of 'The Path of the Wanderers trilogy. It will be followed by a prequel, and then a space adventure spin-off series.
