Ian Saville is a magician, a member of the British Magic Circle, performing both for children and adults, as well as a political activist. He combines these two strands in his 'socialist magic' act, which has won awards and plaudits for its humour and originality. He's also written plays and a number of award-winning one-man shows, as well as completing a Doctorate in theatre history, and teaching Theatre Arts at Middlesex University.
