          	It's been a while since I posted, huh? At least, anything Danganronpa related. I've written and directed a full Ace Attorney stage play, a plethora of unfinished projects, and yes, attempts at the promised sequel all while going about college. I honestly forgot about this series after a while though; I'll admit. Mostly because I've been busy, but also because, like.
          	
          	This past year has been insane, to say the least. LIKE LITERALLY I AM NOT IMMUNE TO THE AO3 AUTHOR CLICHE. I THINK WE AS AUTHORS ARE DOOMED TO FACE HORRIBLE TRIALS BECAUSE OF WHAT WE PUT OUR CHARACTERS THROUGH. I COULDN'T EVEN WEAVE EVERYTHING THAT'S HAPPENED IN THE PAST TWO MONTHS INTO A COHESIVE NARRATIVE IF I TRIED!!! IT SINGLEHANDEDLY PUSHED ME BACK INTO THIS FANDOM, AND THIS AU FROM THE DEPTHS OF MY MIND BECAUSE SERIOUSLY. HUH????
          	
          	Ahem. Back to this series.
          	
          	I'm planning on rebooting my au. I won't do the same crap as most studios nowadays reanimating the shambling corpse of a loved piece of media and making it dance- no. Instead, I want to try and tell you the story of Danganronpa that I've imagined for ages, now that I finally have the confidence to tell it. There were so many ideas that I had that I had to cut, simply because they didn't work with a Chapter 5 rewrite- but I'm thinking about going further than that.
          	
          	What would you guys think of a fanfiction with (mostly) the same lore and worldbuilding, but this time, taking place right at the start of DRV3? This time, instead of Kokichi needing therapy by the end of it, him actually healing as the narrative goes on? An AU where Kokichi is the only person (except, well, you know who) who remembers EVERYTHING? One where the DICE BACKDOOR comes in much earlier, and everything is derailed? That, and so much more... Hehehehhehe...
          	
          	Is there anything specific that you'd want to see in a reboot? Any constructive criticism you guys got? Anything that you wouldn't want to see?

Honestly same lol, in a very different way but I feel you. Anyways! I would be overjoyed at seeing a reboot of this AU! Watching Kokichi heal over the course of the narrative I think would be quite intriguing(in a good way). I would(and will) be very excited to see what new(-ish) things you produce! (However there is no rush for me to see them anytime sooner than you need to make them.)

Hey! It's been a while!
          
           Now I've got a big question for you all...
          
          Lately, it's been difficult for me to work on the main fic. I don't want to abandon the series because it means too much to me, and I still have a lot of really awesome ideas! But the sequel... It doesn't really feel like the kind of story that suits just, well, the written medium. I've tried a handful of times, but I can't seem to get it to feel right, you know? 
          
          I'm sure if I keep trying at it, eventually, I'll be able to find the words; but I had another idea. 
          
          Would you guys be interested in a sequel game? I know it's a little silly to have a game of your own fanfic, but I think I'd be able to tell a much better story that way. For the record, it'd be entirely free, because yknow, this is just for fun! But you wouldn't be getting periodic updates as often. 
          
          Please let me know what you guys think!

Ayo!!!
          
          The next chapter will be slightly delayed, as the finale of The Owl House WRECKED ME, and I can't emotionally recover until I write my own fics on the series. I haven't felt like this since Gravity Falls ended, all those eons ago. I just, aaargh, can't stop thinking about my gay Owl show. 
          
          Good news to Owl House fans, though: my gears are spinning, and I doubt they'll stop anytime soon.  If I can come up with a good enough plot, I might write a long-fic, but it'll probably just be a series of oneshots surrounding the finale - and beyond!

Hey there, friends!
          
          So... It goes without saying that I kind of lied about when the next chapter would be posted. College is ROUGH, but I haven't lost sight of the series. I've just been far too meticulous with the ending. I'm a perfectionist. What can I say? 
          
          Anywho, I wanted to tell yall something epic! 
          
          Once the final chapter is posted, yall are getting TWO, yes TWO, additional chapters! One, for a sequel to the series, and one, oneshot, from a collection of prequel oneshots. All in one day! Buy one, get two free! 
          
          From there, I'll be taking a brief hiatus (2-4 months) from the main storyline and will periodically post oneshots as I finish up a personal project of mine. I have to write a whole Ace Attorney play before September, which, phew, I know I'll need all the writing juice I got for that thing. I may post the script here, but who knows? I surely do not.
          
          In addition, I'll be posting designs every once in a while, of some of the OCs, and updated pregame/postgame designs of some of the main cast! (Along with some fanart my friends have made, later down the road). I might also be updating the cover of "ITFABP," but I can't make any promises.

Hello my lovelies!
          
          Just a little update on the state of "It's time for a backup plan". Don't worry, it's nothing bad! I wanted to tell y'all that between now and February 5th, I'm aiming to finish the fic once and for all. Currently I'm editing the last 3-4 chapters, so I'm on track to reach this goal. Chapters will be dropped periodically, likely starting this Sunday. 
          
           On February 5th, the first chapter of the sequel will also be released. 
          
          (If you can figure out the significance of the date, you get a virtual high five!) 
          
          I truly appreciate you all for staying with me for this adventure, and I hope you guys enjoy the sequel! I'm so incredibly excited to finally show you guys the AU I've been working on for years now, and finally bring this world to life.

            Don't worry, I'm not planning on discontinuing that fic ever! In fact, I'm going to post the next chapter on Halloween (because it's extra spooky!)! I'm hoping to post every two weeks from now on, but that might be a little too optimistic. 
            
            I've just been busy with college recently, and I wanna make the ending as good as it possibly can be! I'm so excited to share the next few chapters!!! :)
