hi everyone! First of all, I am so sorry if this surprise drop felt like a major jump scare (ahwhoo, jump scare). My sincerest, humblest apologies; I am officially back and have missed you all so much ❤.
As some of the newer readers will know, I’ve spent the last couple of months doing a major edit of Creature’s earlier chapters. I am so, so proud of the edit, and it has brought with it loads of new content and characters, but unfortunately, it also put the story through some serious growing pains. I’ve been back and forth with myself countless times on whether to unpublish the later chapters of the story, and this week I finally came to a decision.
Creature has grown so much bigger than I initially envisioned, and I want nothing more than to tell this story the way I always dreamed of. To do that, I needed to unpublish what no longer fits with the story I want to tell. I will forever be grateful to those of you that read and loved Creature’s original draft, and I promise that I will do my best to write you all the story you deserve.
On a more personal level, I am going through an extremely rough patch in my life at the moment. To each of you that have been messaging me, leaving comments and notes here on my noticeboard: thank you. It helped more than you will ever know. I find myself needing my writing more than ever, and I would love to spend the time I have off over the next two months with this community. I will absolutely try my best to consistently put out content for you all, and if that sounds fun to you, grab a hot beverage (and a hug from me), let’s get into it xxx
