This book aims to dissect an emotion we as individuals tend to shy away from, selfishness (quite ironic considering the title). It came to my attention, that regardless of how much we try to deny or bury the rising feelings of guilt when we somewhat start to acknowledge the truth... that we all have a bit of selfishness tugged somewhere within, that somewhere, deep down in each of us burns the insistent demand of "I" and "me" with such relentless ferocity that we often forget that everyone around us is probably chanting the exact same mantra, that it is as true and existent as time. I hope this story will manage to capture the true essence of the emotion, but most of all, that it will not downplay how much it takes to isolate, accept and grab it with both hands... before allowing yourself to let go and let yourself fall into selflessness. And truth be told, how there's nothing gracious about the landing. https://www.wattpad.com/story/127641959
