@iconicbiebs We're in the same boat, my fellow writer. My best advice would be to read. Sounds like a corny way for a writer/bookworm to say, but it's helped me tons. Think of it like Justin prepping for a performance. He has to practice singing, warm-ups with Mama Jan to get ready. It's like a way for writers to warm up. Preferably read books in your genre, find a good one that has good ratings or one that interests you, that should do the trick. Plus, it can give you ways to expand that list of ideas.
