I was fortunate enough to get my very first binder in the mail today. It has definitely made me more comfortable and confident.

Some will understand that pain it puts you through to write and hear your birth name over and over again because you have not come out or told many people about who you feel- no- KNOW you are. Plus, you have a name that you just want to shout in their face even though it really is not their fault because that was just the name they got when they met you as a baby or saw on your records. It really does hurt.

I trip out when I think about how close I am to my idols through social media. My idols could be in Australia, Texas, Chicago, London, Los Angeles, anywhere in the world, but I am still a post, a comment, or a tweet away. So close, but so far away. That lyric or quote could have never been so true.

Headaches are a killer. They are annoying, but sometimes I like the pain because they remind me that I am human and can still feel emotions- the pain would be one. I can become almost robotic when I use an electronic device, but the headaches refuse to let that last for a long period of time. "Hey, you are alive. Stop acting so automatic, and try to, at least, enjoy reality. Maybe, the reality isn't the best right now, but acting as if it doesn't exist is not the way to go. Let this ache in your skull remind you to turn off the device and realize that you are not what you spend half your day on- a non-living device," that is what a headache would say to me if it could possess the power to speak. Sure, headaches are a killer, but they're the kind of killer you would want to kill you.
