The island of Manhattan has been cut off even since the virus spread. It's been about five months since Lena has seen a working t.v., or the outside world as a matter of fact. She and her camp are the only surviving group of people left in Manhatten, and not only has the virus left them vulnerable, it's left them with strange powers. But that's the annoying part. She's been stuck on the island running from a group magical walking dead corpses, and a cannibalistic six-year-old witch.
Life had only taken a turn for the worst.
