Oh, that’s actually not something you can do. They appear on there because they’re people you follow clicked the ‘notify followers’ button. You’d have to un follow them to stop it. Good news, each person can only use the button 3 times a day.
@shotoeatsass welcome to this horrible reality. If anyone found how to turn this thing off, I would appreciate sharing of this knowledge :))))
