Just as Y/N began to mumble an excuse to leave, another voice cut through the tension. “Y/N?” V’s voice was thick with disbelief. He stepped into view, holding a takeout bag in one hand. His eyes widened as recognition dawned, and the bag slipped from his grasp, its contents spilling across the hotel hallway. Tears welled up in his eyeds as he stared at her battered form.
            “Oppa,” she croaked, her voice laden with exhaustion and despair.
            Without hesitation, V closed the distance between them, pulling her into a tight hug. Y/N flinched and hissed in pain, her fragile body unable to withstand the embrace. V immediately released her, his hands trembling as he cupped her face, removing the cap, taking in the full extent of her injuries.
            The other members looked on in shock, their expressions a mix of confusion and concern, trying to comprehend what they were witnessing.
            “What happened to you? He renounced softly, “you’ve been incognito, for 4 full years,” Who did this?” V demanded, his voice shaking. His heart broke seeing his once vibrant cousin reduced to this fragile state.
            “I… I couldn’t go to Jennie unnie,” she stammered. “She’d call amma and appa, and I… I can’t…” Tears streamed down her face as she clutched at her hoodie. “I didn’t know where else to go.” She was in a state of confusion of where she had made the right decision, in coming here in the first place. As her phone blowed up with multiple pings from him, where was she and threatening for her to back.
            V’s jaw clenched, and his eyes burned with unspoken fury. He knew exactly who was responsible. Sehun. The man he once called a friend, the man who had betrayed him by hurting the one person he had sworn to protect.

Her ribs ached with every breath, her collarbone screamed with each movement, and her broken leg barely supported her weight. Yet, here she was, standing at the door of the only people she could think of. V, her older cousin, her childhood confidant. But doubt gnawed at her insides. What if I’m bothering him? What if they’re too busy to care? She hesitated, her finger hovering over the doorbell. Her heart thumped loudly in her chest, a sound that drowned out the bustling sounds of the city around her.
            She turned to leave, deciding that her problems were hers alone to bear, but the door suddenly swung open. Startled, Y/N stumbled slightly, wincing at the sharp pain that shot up her side.
            “Who are you?” RM’s deep voice startled her further. He stepped out, a mask covering his face as he prepared to head out. His gaze was sharp but softened when it fell on her frail and trembling form.
            “I…” she hesitated, her voice barely a whisper. “I… got the wrong number. Sorry.”
            Before she could turn away, Jin appeared in the doorway, his brows furrowing in confusion. “Namjoon, who…?” His words trailed off as his eyes locked onto her.

The cold December air stung her skin as Y/N stood outside the lavish hotel where BTS was staying for the MAMA awards. Her breath came in short, uneven gasps, partly from the pain that coursed through her body and partly from the overwhelming doubt that plagued her mind. The hood of her oversized black hoodie was pulled low, shielding her face from the prying eyes of the world. Beneath it, she hid a hospital gown that barely covered the bloodstains on her arms and legs. Black joggers concealed the fresh and old wounds and bruises on her legs, and her cap obscured the angry purple bruise on her left eye. Her split lip throbbed as the cold wind brushed against it.
