Okay, I'm here to prove why Conguel is the superior ship out of all the Connor Murphy ships and here's why.
The first obvious reason is that, Conguel Connor MurphyxMiguel is canon. They were bestfriends turned lovers in the book. CAnOn. Miguel is also the most stable person Connor has met, mental health wise. Meaning Miguel is more prepared to ask Connor what is wrong without pushing too hard, or making it awkward, or holding back, simply because unlike Evan, he doesn't have severe social anxiety. Unlike Alana, he doesn't have an overly baring, peppy, personality, she makes a great friend, but not a lover for Connor, because he would probably lash out at her, she wouldn't be ready for that. Versus Miguel who has gotten super close to Connor, closer than anyone else and has the most understanding of how he feels, his limits, and what calms him down, or makes him happy. Miguel also wasn't an asshole to him like Jared was. Jared is an asshole, and Connor wouldn't be able to handle his personality. Miguel is the best person for Connor to date.
The second reason is, Treebros would not be a healthy relationship, just for the simple reason that neither Evan or Connor are stable enough mentally to be in a stable relationship with each other! Evan likes trees, has social anxiety, has a lying problem, and pretends to be someone he's not. Connor is quiet, depressed, smokes weed, likes drawing, and reading, he is also a very angry teenager, who doesn't have a healthy or strong relationship with his own family. He is really good at hiding his emotions and it sounds like he bottles them up. Could you imagine how stressful it would be for poor Evan to have to try and understand Connor's emotions? To have work up the courage to try and talk to Connor about something that might be uncomfortable, or he feels is going south in their relationship, or bothers him, or hurt his feelings?
